Welcome to Aistech Space’s Education & Research (E&R) Program, Ambassador Cohort. By completing and submitting the E&R Programme application form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1. Purpose of the Program
As part of this initiative, we are forming a select group of academic partners to explore applications of spaceborne Thermal Infrared (TIR) data and help shape future developments.
2. What the E&R Ambassador Cohort Includes
Participating institutions may receive:
- Access to initial thermal infrared datasets
- 6 tasked images free of charge
- Additional tasking at discounted rates (indicatively 50%) for up to 6 months or a limited volume
- Direct interaction with Aistech technical teams
3. Use of Data and Intellectual Property
Participants are expected to:
- Use the data for academic and non-commercial research
- Engage on a best-effort basis (e.g. integration into ongoing research, student projects or exploration of funding opportunities)
- Provide feedback on data quality and applications
- Acknowledge Aistech Space in resulting outputs, using attribution such as: “Thermal infrared imagery provided by Aistech Space”
4. Participation Levels
Once the program is fully implemented (early 2027), it will include three participation tiers. These are the levels of engagement you could envisage in the future:
☐ Tier 1 – Basic Access
Curated thermal datasets for research and teaching (no cost)
☐ Tier 2 – Research Collaboration
Collaborative research with potential tasking and technical support
(Indicative scope: funded research / €1k-€5k/year depending on volume )
☐ Tier 3 – Campus Program
Long-term institutional collaboration with coordinated research initiatives
(Indicative scope: €5k–€25k/year depending on engagement)
(Final scope and conditions to be defined separately if applicable)
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat as confidential any proprietary or non-public information exchanged within the framework of the E&R Program.
Confidentiality obligations shall remain in effect for a period of one (1) year following the termination of participation.
6. Liability
The E&R Program and all associated data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aistech Space disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from participation in the program or use of the imagery.
7. Compliance with Applicable Laws
Participants agree to use the imagery in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to data protection, export control, security and defence.
8. Data Protection and Cookies
By participating in the E&R Program, you:
- Consent to the processing of your personal data (such as name, email and usage data) in accordance with Aistech Space’s Privacy Policy
- Acknowledge the use of cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy
- Understand that you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting privacy@aistechspace.com, which may result in termination of your participation
9. Non-Commercial Nature
These Terms do not constitute a commercial agreement and do not create any obligation for either party to enter into a commercial relationship.
However, the provisions relating to data use, intellectual property, confidentiality and liability are legally binding.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
