Aistech Space featured in Expansión: up to €10M investment in a new satellite manufacturing plant
Aistech Space plans to invest up to €10 million in a new satellite manufacturing plant as the
company moves toward full industrial scale. The facility will include clean rooms for satellite
integration, two assembly lines (satellites and thermal payloads), and dedicated testing areas.
Planned to become operational by 2027 in the Barcelona area, the new factory will be key to
deploying the company’s 48-satellite Earth observation constellation by 2030, enabling revisit
times of under one hour.
Aistech currently has close to 50 people on the team, and plans to double its workforce this
year as it scales operations alongside the ESA Copernicus programme.
