23 May 2022 – Aistech Space, a space technology company based in Spain, continues to expand its constellation of satellites, putting its third satellite – a new generation the first of which is called Guardian 1 – into orbit on May 25, 2022. The launch will be executed in partnership with SpaceX from Cape Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40.
The Guardian 1 satellite carries an Aistech-designed multispectral telescope equipped with visible (RGB), near infrared (NIR), and thermal infrared (TIR) sensors. This telescope focuses on commercial services aimed at markets linked to environmental sustainability.
